Initiatives > Rural Skills Programme

The Rural Skills Programme gives young people aged 14–25 the opportunity to take part in practical rural and land-based activities.

Working with local organisations, sessions give young people the chance to try different types of work, develop practical skills and learn more about jobs and opportunities in the rural sector. Activities have included ecological and land-based work.

No previous experience is needed, and young people can take part in individual sessions throughout the year.
